Point of View

Brand Campaign & Exhibition Design

Overview

Point of View is a bold brand identity and campaign for a three-day showcase featuring Penn State Graphic Design's senior class. The campaign aims to communicate the universal impact of design to non-designers while celebrating each senior’s unique perspective. It also captures attention through dynamic typography, photography, multi-channeled advertising, and exhibit design.

A Dynamic Logo That Reflects Unique Perspectives

Bold Color, Typography & Playful Brand Voice

Our campaign leverages bold, dynamic typography and animated type-based posters designed to stand out on Penn State's campus. Our brand slogan, “We Are More Than You Think,” embodies this spirit. Point of View challenges expectations and design stereotypes, blending humor with a playful edge to surprise and engage our audience.

Eccentric Fashion & Dynamic Photography

Clothing and portrait photography are central to Point of View’s visual language. For this campaign, we executed portrait photoshoots for the Penn State Graphic Design senior class and Instagram, where students introduced themselves and shared their perspectives on design. Clothing was styled to reflect each student's unique look, emphasizing bold colors, accessories, and textures.

We also created a series of photo-based posters that challenge commonly held expectations about designers. The set design was carefully curated to emphasize and explore the themes within each poster.

Social Media Takeovers

Point of View uses social media to connect with non-design students effectively. The Penn State Graphic Design Instagram highlights polished campaign assets, while our TikTok adopts a more conversational, behind-the-scenes language.

A Collaborative Exhibition Experience

After a semester of marketing efforts, our team launched a three-day showcase. We transformed a Penn State studio space into a dynamic exhibition, featuring anamorphic typography and individual exhibit stalls, each highlighting a student's work.
